What We Do

The Global Forum on the Leadership of Women with Disabilities (GFLWD) drives global action to advance the rights, leadership, and participation of women and girls with disabilities. Through high-level advocacy, evidence-based initiatives, and multi-stakeholder collaboration, we work to ensure that disability inclusion and gender equality remain at the center of global development agendas.

GFLWD brings together women leaders with disabilities, UN agencies, governments, civil society, academia, and grassroots movements to co-create sustainable, inclusive solutions. Our work strengthens the voices, agency, and influence of women with disabilities across local, national, regional, and global platforms.

Policy Advocacy & Global Engagement

We advocate for stronger, more inclusive global policies that reflect the lived experiences of women and girls with disabilities.

Our work includes:

By generating credible evidence, we help shape policies that respond to real-world challenges.
