Abia Akram is an internationally recognized disability rights leader with more than two decades of experience advancing the rights and leadership of women with disabilities. She serves as Director of Projects at the Special Talent Exchange Program (STEP), CEO of the National Forum of Women with Disabilities (NFWWD), Co-Chair of Asia Pacific Women with Disabilities United (APWWDU), and Trustee of Sightsavers.
